WRA Class of 1980

While our time at WRA is a fond memory from the past, the many students on campus today are benefiting from the education, activities, and traditions that we helped to shape. This website is private to our class (login required) and can be used to stay in touch with WRA and the many members of our class that helped to shape our many memories and who remain our friends to this day.

Use this site to stay in touch, share memories, and update you classmates on your activities and acheivements since 1980. As our reunion years approach, check back often for important reunion weekend details.

A Poem from Our Graduation Ceremony in 1980:

Since our time for sharing's finished and our meeting now is done,
Take yourself a thoughtful moment each to every one.
Though our gathering in is ended, And the time has come to part,
Keep our being here together close within your heart.

Build a feeling warm within you,
let it shine forth from within your eye.
Live full with what is in you. Leave your best as you pass by.
There is nothing but what is in us. What we are is all our gift.
Share yourself with joy and sadness ere no one is left.

Think of us this congregation, When the week begins to wear.
Of this family of intention where like minds do care.
Should your troubles start to crowd you, the world face you unkind,
Let the thought of us together warm within your mind.

In a world of cold embraces, An oasis lingers here.
There are people here who love you, in a way whole and sincere.
When we part the memory of you stay within good, calm, and clear.
Take a cue from the beginning, Say I'm glad you're here.

- Words by Bill Meikie, music by William McClelland 1969
